The Concrete Canoe Competition is for Civil Engineering students across the country. Students from various schools put together teams to compete regionally and nationally.
The competition is just as it sounds; each team is in charge of designing, testing and building a canoe out of concrete. The competition is comprised of four parts a presentation, a paper, a set of races and an overall product.
The UW Concrete Canoe Team has attended the national competition the past five years, and we hope to make this year the sixth!
